Unblocking of this electric strike is performed by the power supply of the coil, which releases the keeper. The action generated by the fail-secure system is memorized by stationary contact of the bolt onto the pallet, thereby keeping the electric strike unlocked until the door is opened. Pressure on the pallet is then released and locking is automatically restored.
Furthermore, the electric strikes with memory include an OPEM lever of continuous opening of the latch strike, useful to maintain a professional local open for long time slots. This system must be manually operated in a sense to deactivate the locking, then the other way to reset.
The electric strikes function equally well with an AC or DC voltage, 12V in both cases.
Warranty for more than 300 000 opening cycles, these electric strikes are designed to resist forced entry up to 500 daN, subject to have carefully following the fitting instructions provided by SEWOSY.
The reduced aperture offset of the electric strike and adjustable latch with a tolerance of 3 mm are two advantages specific to SEWOSY electric strikes identified by the registered designation ROUREGTM. ROUREGTM electric strikes are easier to install and more aesthetic to the facilities, as they adapt to various configurations and do not require lateral frame cutting. The keeper, capable of rotate on itself, indeed requires less space to operate.
Easy to mortise in all types of frames, this electric strike with standard dimensions is composed of Zamak-5 and is symmetrical. Also reversible, it can be mounted in doors of either right or left DIN. As for its fixing distance, it corresponds to a majority of faceplates on the market.
